Voting Day is Monday, October 22, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Are you ready to vote?

To vote, you must have your voter card and acceptable ID. The town will be mailing voter cards to eligible voters in mid-September. Watch for it!

If you don’t receive your voter card by the end of September, contact the Clerk’s department. On voting day (October 22) you can vote at any one location in the ward you live in. Locations will be listed on your voter card and on the town’s election website.

New ward boundaries

Your ward may have changed! Oakville’s new seven-ward boundary system will be used to conduct the municipal election and will officially be in place on December 1, 2018. To accommodate the new Ward 7, which captures neighbourhoods north of Dundas Street, adjustments have been made to all existing ward boundaries except Ward 3.

Visit our online Elections Map to confirm the ward you live in. It will also be listed on your voter card.

Are you on the voters’ list?

You can check to see if your name is on the voters’ list online or by calling the Clerk’s department.
