Oakville is celebrating Recreation and Parks month by offering a free swim this Saturday (June 15) in four of the town's pools.

The heat is on and there’s nothing like a dip in a pool to cool off now that summer is here.

To help celebrate Recreation and Parks Month, the Town of Oakville is offering residents a free swim in one of its recreational outdoor pools this Saturday (June 15).

Residents can take a dip at no cost in their Bronte (2184 Hixon Street), Falgarwood (1349 Gainsborough Drive), Lions (159 Felan Avenue) and Wedgewood (351 Cairncroft) swimming pools.

To guarantee your spot, pre-register here.

Town of Oakville pools are open year-round and offer a variety of swimming and aquatic programs.

Outdoor pools are closed during thunderstorms and refunds will be issues as applicable. Ran days are non-refundable as the outdoor pools remain open.

The town also offers a Summer Fun Pass where residents ages 2 to 17 can enjoy drop-in recreational swims from June 1 to September 2. The cost per pass is $45.06.
