Here’s How You Can Get Involved With Rogers Hometown Hockey in Burlington

 

If you want to volunteer for Rogers Hometown Hockey in Burlington now is your chance.

In a recent media release, the city of Burlington announced the search for volunteers during the event. 

Burlington is a giving and sharing community,” Denise Beard, Manager of Community Development, said in a recent media release.

Let’s show Rogers Hometown Hockey and the rest of Canada just how strong the volunteer spirit is in Burlington. We need residents to join us and volunteer to make this an outstanding event.”

Volunteers will help with various aspects of the events being held in downtown Burlington on Oct. 27 and Oct. 28.

There will be two areas for volunteer hours: waste sorting and popcorn distribution.

The online application form can be found at burlington.ca/hometownhockey. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 21.
