Here’s How You Can Watch Movies Under the Stars in Burlington This Summer

There’s nothing better than a nice summer night. And if you’ve been looking for something to do during the summer in Burlington when the sun goes down… then look no further.

There’s nothing better than a nice summer night. And if you’ve been looking for something to do during the summer in Burlington when the sun goes down… then look no further.

Starting July 4, 2019, Burlington residents, and anyone who wishes to attend, will be able to watch movies under the stars.

According to the city’s event page on their website, movies, which will all start at 9 p.m., will be screened at various park locations in Burlington up until Aug. 15, 2019.

The screenings are free to attend and, according to the city’s website, the exact schedule is as follows.

Thursday, July 4, 2019 – Nelson Park

  • Megamind

Thursday, July 11, 2019 – Orchard Park

  • Planes: Fire and Rescue

Thursday, July 18, 2019 – Central Park Bandshell

  • Annie 

Thursday, July 25, 2019 – Earl Court Park

  • Monsters Inc.

Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019 – Lowville Park

  • The Incredibles

Thursday, Aug. 8, 2019 – Ireland Park

  • Parent Trap

Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019 – Spencer Smith Park

  • Coco

Anyone who is planning to attend is encouraged to bring their own lawn chair and/or blankets. People are also advised to show up early in order to reserve a spot.

Parking and restroom facilities will be available on site.

In the event of bad weather, any screening cancellations will be posted on the Burlington Events Twitter account (@BurlEvents).
