March Break is quickly approaching (March 11 to March 15).

March Break is quickly approaching (March 11 to March 15).

While this may be exciting for some parents and children as they prepare to jet off to a warm destination, for others, March Break will be a few days of relaxation at home – more of a staycation if you will. Both are something to look forward to.

If you are planning on staying in the Halton Region this March Break and are looking for something to do, well good news because there is lots going on in the Town of Milton.

“Town facilities offer a variety of recreation activities for families to be active and engaged this March Break,” Kristene Scott, Commissioner of Community Services, said in a press release. “We are excited to offer opportunities for families enjoying a staycation with family and friends.”

A few of these fun activities include Tim Hortons sponsored swims, drop-in skating, drop-in hockey, as well as basketball, pickleball, floor hockey, soccer, and more.

Children can also enjoy March Break camps in the town. These camps including a cycling camp (for children between 10 and 15-years-old), a kindercamp (for children who are four or five-years-old), and a sew cool camp (for children between nine and 14).
