Here’s where you can go in Burlington to get out of the cold

With a cold warning issued for Halton Region beginning tomorrow (Jan. 17) there are places you can go to keep warm.

During extremely cold weather, you can go to any designated Burlington Public Library branch during library open hours.

Cold warnings are issued by Halton Region Public Health during any of the following weather conditions:

— Daily predicted low of -15°C without wind chill
— Environment and Climate Change Canada issues an Extreme Cold Warning for outdoor activity (temperature or wind chill is expected to reach -30°C for at least two hours)
