Video: High winds knock over truck and slow traffic on Burlington Skyway in Hamilton

High winds knocked a transport truck on its side on the Burlington Skyway bridge in Hamilton.
The high winds on the Niagara-bound QEW at the Skyway in Hamilton pushed the truck on its side, OPP said in a tweet at 3:22 p.m. today (Feb. 15).
“Fortunately, no injures, (but) expect delays in the area,” police said.
Two lanes remain open on the QEW.
The Eastport lift bridge is not an available option, OPP added. Construction work on the Eastport lift bridge is expected to take until March 20 to complete.
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement today with winds of up to 80 km/h across southern Ontario.
