UPDATE: Highway lanes in Mississauga, Burlington blocked by collisions

A pair of collisions on Friday caused traffic to bottleneck on two major highways that fed into Mississauga and Burlington.
Real-time tracking shows that two right lanes and the shoulder are blocked on Highway 403 near Waterdown, not far from the exit for Queen Elizabeth Way. Also, in Mississauga, the two left lanes of the Fort Erie-bound QEW are blocked at Erin Mills Parkway due to a collision.
Drivers will have to be prepared for longer travel times and potential detours.
