If you’ve always been fascinated by the history of Milton and want to learn more, the Milton Historical Society’s guided walking group tours are the perfect solution.

Walk Into History tours are available by appointment only and explore one of four areas of old Milton:

  • Historic Main Street
  • Historic Martin Street
  • Historic Victoria Park Square & Area
  • Historic Mill & Victoria Streets Area

Many of the homes and buildings have plaques showing the date of construction, name of the owner and occupation dates.

Groups must be made up of between seven to 10 people. Each tour lasts between 90 minutes and two hours.

The cost is $10 per participant. All walks are cash only, payable at the beginning of the walk.

When booking, the Society will need two or three preferred dates so they can align with volunteer guides availability.

“This is a great way to bring your group together for an activity where you can step back into Milton’s early history while enjoying a stroll through old Milton,” reads the Society’s website.
