History and culture can be explored at Doors Open Burlington this weekend

A tour of Union Burial Ground is part of Doors Open Burlington.

History, culture and the natural resources of the local landscape can be explored during Doors Open Burlington this weekend.

Taking place tomorrow, Aug. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. you will be able to visit heritage sites, noteworthy buildings and other interesting locations free of charge as part of the event.

A few of the Burlington locations that will be part of Doors Open this year include Backed By Bees, Kilbride United Church, Burlington Model Railway Club and Union Burial Ground.

Many of the locations this year will offer special activities and behind-the-scenes tours.
