Iconic $18.9M Oakville mansion on list of Canada’s most expensive homes

Oakville is home to one of Canada’s most expensive homes.
The iconic mansion, located at 1092 Argyle Dr., is priced at a cool $18,980,000 and is ranked fifth on the list compiled by Point2 Realty of the 25 most expensive homes currently for sale across the country.
Found on Oakville’s Golden Mile in the desired Morrison District in the south-east area of the town, the home has seven bedrooms and nine baths.
The 15-year-old two-story stone mansion comes with a monthly mortgage of $82,694, but offers you stunning lake views and breezes from most rooms.
The luxurious home offers 14,600 square feet of living space and also includes a boardroom, banquet hall, home theatre and formal reception rooms.
Comfort is a focus with a Concord Elevator and heated floors. The downspouts are copper.

While 10 of the priciest homes on the list are from Ontario, it’s a Whistler, B.C. property that tops the list with a price tag of a cool $39 million.
Second on the list is a “French château-inspired” $37.5 million mansion in Mississauga.
Rounding out the remaining top five spots on the list is a $35 million home in Montreal at No. 3 and at No. 4 is a Toronto estate at $29.8 million.
