It’s Going to be an Extremely Cold Weekend in Halton

If you were hoping for a relatively warm weekend in Halton this weekend (Jan. 18 to Jan. 20) we have some sad news.

According to The Weather Network, it’s supposed to be extremely cold.

If you haven’t already, it may be time to bring out that heated blanket (or invest in one).

In Burlington on Friday the temperature will be minus one and if you’re thinking that this isn’t that bad, you’re right. However, it will feel like minus six and drop down to minus 10 during the night. On Saturday the temperature will be minus nine, feel like minus 17, and stay at minus 17 throughout the night. On Sunday, it will be minus 16, feel like minus 27, and rise a little bit in the evening to minus 22.

 

In Oakville on Friday it will be zero degrees, feel like minus four, and drop down to minus nine during the night. Saturday the temperature will drop to minus nine, it will feel like minus 17, and rise a little bit to minus 16 for the evening. On Sunday the temperature in Oakville will continue to drop. It will be minus 15, feel like minus 26, and it will be minus 20 at night.

 

In Milton this weekend, the temperatures will be the exact same as Oakville.

 

The cold will be no stranger to Halton Hills this weekend. On Friday it will be minus two, feel like minus seven, and fall to minus 12 at night. On Saturday it will be minus 12, feel like minus 18 and stay at minus 18 during the evening. On Sunday in Halton Hills it will be minus 17, feel like minus 28 (bring on that heated blanket), and rise slightly in the evening to minus 21.
