It’s a sweet option for Milton residents who are looking for something fun to hand out to neighbourhood trick or treaters this Halloween.

You can buy discounted skating and swimming coupons from the Town of Milton and celebrate a happy, healthy Halloween.

“We’re excited to offer the happy, healthy Halloween coupon program for a second year,” said Milton Mayor Gord Krantz.

“For many young people, the experience of swimming or skating can be just as sweet as candy.”

Ten coupons cost $5, plus HST.

Coupons are available for purchase at the Milton Sports Centre, Milton Leisure Centre, Mattamy National Cycling Centre, FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton and Milton Seniors’ Activity Centre.

Keep in mind, the coupons are valid for children 12-years-old and younger, and can be redeemed from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 2017.

There’s more.

In addition to Milton’s Halloween coupons, residents can join a Halloween Haunt on Oct. 28 at the Milton Seniors’ Activity Centre (all ages).

You can bring the whole family and come dressed in costumes for a pumpkin-carving contest, Halloween crafts, and more.

Registration is $32.54 for the whole family (maximum of 4 family/household members, including at least one adult).
