An arrest has been made following an attempted knife-point robbery of a Burlington convenience store.

Halton police say the incident unfolded in the early hours of Oct. 11 when a man entered the Circle K at Guelph Line and Mountainside Rd.

Once inside the suspect pulled a knife and threatened the store worker while demanding cash.

However, another employee interrupted the crime which caused the suspect to flee the scene without the money.

A short time later, police arrested a 27-year-old Burlington man and charged him with robbery and using a disguise with intent to commit a crime.

The name of the person charged has not yet been revealed by police.
