If you want to have your say about important transportation topics that will shape the future of Milton, you better hurry, as time is running out.

Public engagement is at the heart of We Make Milton, the review and update to the Town’s Official Plan. This plan will manage growth in the community until 2051.

Moving in Milton explores six ‘Big Questions’ on moving people and goods in Milton:

  • Accessibility, equity and inclusion
  • Connectivity, continuity, and convenience
  • Growth and traffic management
  • Moving goods and services
  • Sustainability
  • Rural area

Local residents can get involved by visiting Let’s Talk Milton and completing the Moving in Milton survey before Wednesday, May 3.

A report with policy considerations will go to Milton Council for approval in June. Engagement on the remaining We Make Milton policy themes (Working in Milton, Growing in Milton) will occur later this year.

In 2021, Milton Council endorsed a modern, forward-looking land-use vision for the new Official Plan that reflected the diverse, young and innovative community.
