Guest BurlLITFest authors Jennifer Robson, Perdita Felicien, and R.H. Thomson.

Canadian actor R. H. Thomson in conversation with author and journalist Ian Brown highlights a number of discussions and workshops that will take place during the Burlington Literary Festival.

Thomson, who has appeared in films and theatre across Canada in his five-decade career, will use his book By the Ghost Light to explore stories that shape who we are and how the past can influence future generations.

Brown, an award-winning writer, is a regular contributor to the The Globe and Mail and regularly hosts programs on TVO and the CBC.

The month-long festival, presented by the Burlington Public Library, begins in November and is a celebration of the written word and has grown in stature each year.

Welcoming a diverse array of authors, the event is meant to inspire and enlighten participants and encourage those who have a story to tell.

As well as Thomson and Brown, other author sessions include Women of Crime featuring crime fiction authors sharing their love of the genre, historical fiction writing with Jennifer Robson, and Olympic athlete Perdita Felicien discussing her life and career.

Registration for the event begins on October 18 and more detailed information about all activities can be found at BurlLITFest.
