One of Oakville’s most popular holiday events for the whole family is returning tomorrow.

The annual Holiday Lights by the Lake will kick off at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 1, at Coronation Park.

The park will be transformed into a spectacular winter destination with the Holiday Lights by the Lake light display. The lights will be on display throughout the winter season through to February.

Families are invited to drive through the park, enjoy the festive lights, drop off a gift card or toy donation and wave or deliver a letter to Santa.

A special drive-thru toy collection event will be held at the park on Friday, Dec. 8, from 5 to 9 p.m. Proceeds will be donated to the Oakville Professional Firefighters Association’s 31st annual Holiday Toy Drive.

During the event, families will be able to drive through Coronation Park, enjoy the festive lights, drop off an unwrapped toy donation or gift card, and enjoy special appearances from visual performers, Sparky the Fire Dog, members of the OPFFA, and Santa in his sleigh.

Coronation Park is located at 1426 Lakeshore Rd. W.
