Here are some tips before you head out for the slopes for the first time this year.

Make sure you have all your equipment essentials ready to go, skis or snowboard, boots, helmet and goggles. There’s a rental shop on site if you need gear.

Layers are your friend. Layers closest to your body should be tighter fitting, but not restrictive. Mid layers help hold in warmth, and outer layers add protection from wind and water. Go with wool or winter sport specific fabrics for the best experience.

Pack a towel to wipe down your gear after your time on the hill to prevent moldy bags or wet vehicles.

Consider purchasing seasonal equipment storage for your skis or snowboard. You can choose between an individual storage unit or a family unit.
