Updated: ‘Lost and confused’ man without ID stranded at Peel Police Mississauga HQ

A man described as “lost and confused” is at the Peel Region Police headquarters in Mississauga and needs to be reunited with his family.

The man was escorted to the headquarters on Derry Rd and Mississauga Rd in the city’s west side, police confirmed. He arrived there shortly before police confirmed his appearance on social media around 5 p.m. on May 31. He does not have any identification on him and has been unable to tell the officers.

Police shared the man’s story and picture in the hopes he will be recognized and taken home.

Update 5:30 p.m.: Police were able to figure out the general area the man lived and drove him through the neighbourhood. He recognized his home and has been reunited with his family.

“Thank you all for your quick willingness to help,” police said.
