Man assaulted in Oakville movie theatre parking lot

A trip out to the movies Wednesday night in Oakville resulted in head injuries for one male movie-goer.

Halton Regional Police are looking for two males who they allege assaulted another man in a parking lot at Cineplex Cinemas, located on Winston Churchill and Winston Park Dr.

Police received a report around 10:04 p.m. of an assault that occurred in the movie theatre parking lot.

“(The) victim sustained injury to (the) head area,” Halton Regional Police Cst. Steve Elms told inhalton.com. “(The) suspects fled on foot.”

Emergency Medial Support services arrived and attended to the victim’s injuries.

Police describe the two suspects as being males. Both are approximately six-feet-tall.

A police investigation is ongoing.
