On May 12, a man allegedly broke into the clothing bins at the Compassion Society of Halton.

They are a social services organization that gives clothes to the homeless. They are located on 484 Plains Road East in Burlington.

The man was seen removing clothes from the bin twice that day.

Halton Police are still investigating the incident. They are currently looking for more videos from that day.

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

According to police, people have seen others take clothes from these bins a few times in the past because there are no locks to secure them.

The Compassion Society of Halton took to Facebook on May 13 to publicize the incident. They state that the man broke into the bins at 7:40 a.m.

They say he clipped the lock on one bin and looted the donations for 40 minutes. He then dumped the rest of the clothes outside causing them to get ruined by the rain. He later returned at 11:30 p.m with a big garbage dumpster and finished clipping the lock on the second bin and stole all the donations.

The organization provided pictures of the man; however, the man’s face is not that visible.

More updates to come.
