Horse shows, farming, and families — Halton is returning to its roots as the annual Fall Fair takes place at the Milton Fairgrounds this weekend.

It’s a chance to explore agriculture and learn about all things rural – the fair has roots dating back to 1853, you know – plus take in some great live music.

Alessia Cohle will be performing, plus One Ugly Cowboy — they’re warming things up for headliners River Town Saints.

Events feature a magical midway ride, horses, a kids’ pet show, truck and tractor pulls, and the smashing demolition derby.

There’s plenty more family fun in store.

Festivities begin on Sept. 22 at 3 p.m. until 11 p.m.

Fun continues again on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m., then again on Sunday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

General admission is $20.

Tickets are being sold here.
