The Town of Milton has plenty of events celebrating this year’s Earth Day, Saturday, April 22.

This year’s theme is Invest in Our Planet and there are a couple of weeks worth of activities beginning Saturday, April 15.

“The Town of Milton strives to be good stewards of the environment year-round, with a number of events occurring in and around Earth Day,” said a Town spokesperson.

We encourage Milton residents to participate in these events (rain or shine) to celebrate Earth Day, give back to our environment, and keep outdoor spaces safe and clean for all to enjoy.”

In recognition of Earth Day, Milton is planting several hundred trees and shrubs this spring and fall with environmental partners Sustainable Milton and Conservation Halton, in addition to the hundreds of trees being planted in streetscapes and parks.

Here are some of the events coming up.
