Milton hockey rivalry game against Georgetown also a charity fundraiser

Friday night will see more than just a hockey game between two old rivals at Milton Memorial Arena. It will serve as a fundraiser for cystic fibrosis awareness.

The game will pit the Milton Menace against Georgetown Raiders and will support seven-year-old Milton resident, Liam Wilson, of Liam’s Mission.

During the night, fans can expect:

  • Puck drop by Milton’s Little Super Hero, Liam Wilson
  • Silent Auction with items like Leafs tickets, gift baskets, an autographed jersey courtesy of the Zach Hyman and family
  • Chuck-a-Puck prizes for custom cystic fibrosis awareness Menace hats and Allstate Bluetooth speakers
  • Signed NHL jersey auction
  • Bake sale
  • Special games and prizes
  • 50/50 draw by Optimist Club of Milton

Proceeds from the event will go to Sick Kids Foundation, as well as the John Tavares Foundation.

Puck-drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
