Milton Man Arrested for Allegedly Sexually Assaulting Children

A Milton man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting young girls in the Waterloo region.

A Milton man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting young girls in the Waterloo region.

According to a news release, Waterloo Regional Police arrested a male in connection to an investigation into three separate sexual assaults against young girls.

On Oct. 20, 2013, according to police, between the hours of 3 and 5 p.m., a four-year-old girl was inside an apartment building, located at 429 Barrie St., in Waterloo, when she was approached by a male and sexually assaulted.

Also, according to police, on Oct. 27, 2017, at approximately 7 p.m., a six-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in an apartment building, located at 318 Patricia Ave., in Kitchener.

And on July 6, 2019, at approximately 8 p.m., a four-year-old girl was playing in the area of 16 Brybeck Cres., in Kitchener when she was approached by a male in the common area of an apartment building and sexually assaulted.

Police say DNA analysis completed by the centre of forensic sciences linked the three incidents. 

On Aug. 15, 2019, Timi Gusak, a 32-year-old Milton man, was arrested at around 5:30 p.m.

The accused is facing several alleged charges, including three counts of sexual assault, and three counts of sexual interference.

The accused was scheduled to appear in Kitchener’s Ontario Court of Justice on Aug. 16, 2019.

“Although we are confident that the person responsible for these three incidents has been arrested, we continue to investigate further and we encourage anyone with any information to please come forward,” reads the release.
