Milton man charged in child porn and sexual assault investigation

A Milton man is facing multiple charges related to child pornography and sexual assault.
A Milton man is facing multiple charges related to child pornography and sexual assault.
In February, members of the Halton Regional Police Service Internet Child Exploitation Unit (I.C.E.) were made aware of a Facebook user that was allegedly using local groups to attempt to make arrangements to sexually assault a child.
As a result of this investigation, Bradley Munroe (56) was arrested on Monday (April 27) and charged with:
- Making an agreement or arrangement to sexually assault a child
- Possession of child pornography
- Distribution of child pornography
Police said the accused used a number of social media applications and used multiple user names, such as Brad Munroe and BJ.

The accused was held pending a bail hearing.
“Halton Regional Police Service reminds parents of the importance of monitoring your child’s online social media presence, and having a conversation with them about internet safety and the disclosure of personal information,” said police in an official statement.
