Milton man faces 4 firearms charges after arrest in Mississauga

A Milton man is facing four charges after Peel Regional Police seized a loaded gun after responding to a call in Mississauga.
Shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Friday (Oct. 15), police were called to the area of Duke of York Boulevard and Burnhamthorpe Road West, in Mississauga to investigate reports of a suspicious vehicle. It is alleged that officers arrived in the area and began to conduct an investigation which led them to arresting a man in possession of a loaded Glock .23-calibre firearm.
Mohamed Aboulela, a 23-year-old man from Milton, has been charged with the following offences:
- Possession of a loaded, prohibited or restricted firearm;
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm;
- Carrying a concealed weapon;
- Possession of a prohibited device.
Aboulela appeared in a Brampton court on Friday.
