Milton Public Library to host ‘storytime’ with Olympic figure skater

The Milton Public Library (MPL) will be hosting a special “storytime” event later this month that will feature an Olympic figure skater.

The event will feature Maddie Schizas, MPL’s first Community Ambassador, a student at the University of Waterloo and an advocate of library services.

It will take place on Saturday, Aug. 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Sherwood branch where attendees will be able to join Schizas for stories, songs, rhymes and a meet and greet.

Those who are interested in attending are encouraged to register in advance.
