There’s no higher accolade in the world of sports than making the hall of fame and Milton is looking for the next group to adorn the Wall of Fame.

The Milton Sports Hall of Fame has put out a call for nominations for the local honour, which first started in 2016 and includes such local luminaries as NHL star John Tonelli, NHL officials Bruce Hood and Leon Stickle and the mid-1990s Milton Merchants junior hockey team.

The purpose of the Milton Sports Hall of Fame is to honour outstanding achievement in sports by athletes, sports teams and builders. The Wall of Fame is currently located in the Milton Sports Centre.

Nominations for the Class of 2023 are now being accepted until April 30.
