One of Milton’s favourite holiday traditions is returning to downtown next month.

The Miracle on Main Street in Downtown Milton is celebrating its 15th year of collecting toys for local children.

The event is run by the Tiger Jeet Singh Foundation in partnership with the Halton Regional Police Service. This is the sixth year of the merger between the two organizations.

More than $1,000,000 was raised during last year’s donation drive. TJSF does not charge for any administrative fees with 100 per cent of the donations go back into serving the community.

The donations raised each year go towards the purchase of toys, food, and life essentials for families experiencing poverty and injustice through 60 different Halton charities in Milton, Oakville, Burlington, Halton Hills and surrounding communities.

In addition, since 2015, TJSF has donated annually to elementary schools, supporting various initiatives such as mental health, inclusive classrooms, literacy and nutrition.

At the event are free amusement rides, a petting zoo, live entertainment, local vendors, pony rides and photos with Santa.

Wrestling legends Tiger Jeet Singh and Tiger Ali Singh will both be making appearances along with members of the Halton police, Milton fire, Halton ambulance and local celebrities and dignitaries.
