Missing 44-year-old man from Oakville known to be driving a car

Halton Regional Police are asking the public for help locating and safely bringing home a missing 44-year-old man from Oakville.

Police say George Brown, often referred to as Rob, was last seen on Saturday (June 1)  in the area of Glen Ashton Drive and Trafalgar Road.

Investigators describe Brown as a white man, approximately 5-foot-11, with an average build. He has short black hair and a short beard.

He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt and black running shoes. His pants’ description is unknown.

Brown is suspected of driving a brown-coloured 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe with Ontario license plate # AKTS 704.

Police and his family do not know where he travelled to and are concerned for his well-being.

Halton police remind residents that a person can be reported missing at any time – there is no 24-hour waiting period.

Anyone with information about Brown or his possible whereabouts is asked to contact police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
