Missing: Burlington resident last seen on Christmas Eve 2023

Police continue the search for a missing man from Burlington who was last seen on Christmas Eve.

The Halton Regional Police Service is reaching out to the public for their help in locating 42-year-old Antonino “Nino” Ingarra.

Police say, Ingarra was last seen on Dec. 24 (2023) near New Street and Guelph Line. Authorities have not provided an approximate time of when he was last seen.

Investigators describe Ingarra as a white man,  5-foot-5 in height, with a weight of 180 pounds. He has receding short brown hair, brown eyes, and is missing his top teeth.

At the time of his disappearance, Ingarra was wearing black Puma shoes, red Christmas pyjama pants, and a black winter coat. Additionally, Ingarra often wears a sock over his right hand, police noted.

He is also known to have a black electric scooter and may be seen pushing a blue wagon.

Concerns for his well-being have prompted the police and his family to seek information from the public.

According to Halton police, there is no 24-hour waiting period to report a missing person. If immediate safety concerns exist, individuals should call 9-1-1; otherwise they can report a missing person to Halton Regional Police Service on a emergency line at: 905-825-4777.
