An 88-year-old woman last seen in Burlington has been safely located.

Mildred Blemings was found in the backyard of a home close to where she went missing, say Halton police.

Mildred Blemings was found in the backyard of a home close to where she went missing, say Halton police.

Blemings, nicknamed “Mickey,” was last spotted on Aug. 30 at 1 p.m. in the area of Appleby Line and New St.

Investigators received a tip around 9 p.m. the same day and found Blemings near Appleby Line and Longmoor Dr.

Police are thanking the public for their help.
