Missing Oakville senior, 81, may be Brampton-bound

Police in Oakville are asking for the help of the public in locating an 81-year-old man who went missing on Tuesday morning.

The Halton Regional Police Service — Oakville says they and the family of 81-year-old Stefan Panajotow are concerned for his well-being. He is considered a vulnerable person. Panajotow was last seen at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday in the area of Third Line and Dundas Street. He was on foot and possibility attempting to travel to the Brampton area.

Stefan Panajotow is described as standing five-foot-seven with a slim build and shoulder-length grey hair. He was wearing a brown trench coat, a fedora hat with a blue feather, and he was carrying a blue reusable bag. (see attached photo)

Residents in the area are asked to pay special attention and contact police if they see anyone matching Panajotow’s description. Anyone with information about Stefan or his possible location is asked to contact Halton police through 9-1-1 or via the non-emergency line at 905-825-4777.
