More pedestrian crossovers installed in Milton

More pedestrian crossovers have been installed in the Town of Milton.
The new crossovers have been installed at Farmstead Dr., Clark Blvd., Denyes Way and McMullen Crescent and Van Allen Gate and Charlton Way.
Earlier this week, the Town also announced a new crossover at Maple Ave. and Woodward Ave.
As a result, the Town is reminding residents to remember to push the button to activate the flashing lights when crossing in those areas.
“Motorists must remain stopped until everyone has crossed all lanes of the road,” said the Town of Milton about the new crossovers on Twitter.
All pedestrian crossovers within the Town are marked by lines on the road, a clear place showing where motorists should stop, roadside signs and flashing lights in certain cases.
