More rush hour trips added for Milton GO train users

“Metrolinx, the operator of the GO Transit system, has added new trips for Milton commuters going to and from Toronto.
Starting on June 26, GO is adding a 7:59 a.m. train leaving from Milton and arriving at Union Station at 9:03 a.m.
As well, on the same day, a 5:10 p.m. trip will now depart from Union Station in Toronto and arrived in Milton at 6:12 p.m.
“More rush hour train options!” a bulletin sent out by Metrolinx noted. “Beginning Monday, June 26, we’re adding more weekday service to provide you with more options to get you where you need to go.”
Milton Ward 4 Regional Councillor Sameera Ali welcomed the news but added that more service is needed.
“We continue to press Metrolinx to restore the Route 21 bus service to & from Union,” she said through social media channels.
