You will now have more opportunities to play pickleball in Burlington.

As part of a one-year pilot project, the outdoor courts at Ireland Park will now have dedicated times for pickleball play.

Located at 2315 Headon Forest Dr., Ireland Park as four, lined pickleball courts within tennis courts.

The dedicated pickleball times are:

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Friday – 8 a.m. to noon
  • Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday – 5:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Sunday – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Outside of the dedicated pickleball times, the outdoor courts will be available for both pickleball and tennis on a first come, first served basis for 30 minutes at a time.

After the 2023 outdoor court season ends in the fall, the City will review the project and then decide whether to cancel, modify or continue the schedule next year.
