New chain plant-based restaurant opens in downtown Oakville

Tuesday (June 20) brings a Fresh new start in downtown Oakville.

Fresh Kitchen and Juice Bar, located at 215 Lakeshore Rd. E., officially opens its doors at 11 a.m.

The town’s newest plant-based restaurant is located right across from Oakville Town Square.

“Making it the perfect spot to enjoy all the shops downtown Oakville has to offer,” Fresh says on its website.

Their “craveable” dishes are always made with fresh exciting ingredients.

There’s a menu for every time of the year and hour of the day, from a summer menu with fresh fruits and plants to a happy hour menu along with the standard lunch and dinner menus.

The brunch menu offers bundles where you can pair select dishes and drinks for $20.

Fresh has several locations across the Greater Toronto area

The food is 100 per cent plant-based and is made daily in-house from original recipes, using who, natural ingredients.

The freshly-squeezed juices are made to order and the fresh fruit and vegetable juices work as nutritional building blocks to bring you closer to better health and well-being than you’ve ever been before.

There are fresh juices like the Green 2.0, which includes kale, spinach, parsley, celery, lemon, apple, ginger and cayenne. Or try the one that started it all, the 24 Karat Juice.

There are also power shakes, like the Galaxy with passion fruit, mango, oat mile, banana, orange and lemon, or even homemade sparkling lemonade or fresh ginger ale.

Lunch and dinner food options include burgers and wraps, salads, tacos, fires and bowls like the Powerhouse consisting of avocado, chickpeas, tofu steaks, salad greens, microgreens, toasted mixed nuts, tomato, scallions, powerhouse sauce and lemon.

“We want to be the place where everyone feels welcome and united by their love for our food and juice,” the restaurant said on its website.

Regular hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., except on Saturday and Sundays when they open at 10:30 a.m. and close at 10 p.m.
