New COVID case at Emily Carr school in Oakville

Emily Carr Public School in Oakville is the fifth school in Halton Region to report a COVID-19 case.

The report came in this morning through the Halton District School Board’s website. The school remains open.

Located at 2255 Pine Glen Rd. in the Dundas St. W. and Postmaster Dr. area, the school accommodates 830 students from JK-Grade 8.

The school board and Halton Public Health have yet to reveal if the infected person is a student or staff member.
