New Oakville transit bus stop locations to open this weekend

New accessible Oakville Transit bus stop locations on the west side of Trafalgar Road will be opening this weekend while existing temporary bus stops will be moved to the new locations.
The new southbound lanes and the new bus stop locations between Hays Boulevard and Leighland Avenue are scheduled to open starting Nov. 28, 2020.
The following bus stops will be relocated and a map of the new locations is provided below.
McCraney Street at Trafalgar Road (bus stop #2755) route 19 Oakville GO bound bus stop will consolidate and move to the new bus stop location on Trafalgar Road south of McCraney Street (#3146).
Trafalgar Road at Ceremonial Road (bus stop #3245) will be relocated to the far side of the intersection. Routes 1 and 24 will service this new location. Routes 5 and 5A and 6 will not service the new location, customers can use the bus stop at Sheridan College for these routes.

Trafalgar Road at Glenaston Drive (bus stop #3151) will be relocated to the far side of the intersection. Routes 1, 5 and 5A and 24 will service this new location. Route 19 will not service the new location and the nearest bus stop for Route 19 is located on Glenashton Drive at Taunton Road (bus stop #2870).
Trafalgar Road at McCraney Street (bus stop #3146) will be relocated to the far side of the intersection. Routes 1, 19 and 24 will service this new location. Routes 5 and 5A will not service this location.
Trafalgar Road at River Oaks Boulevard (bus stop #3156) will be relocated to the far side of the intersection. Routes 1, 5 and 5A and 24 will service this new location.
Trafalgar Road at Rosegate Way (bus stop #3170) will get a new bus stop that will be located at the far side of the intersection. Routes 1, 5 and 5A, 19 and 24 will service this new location.
Trafalgar Road at Sheridan College/White Oaks Boulevard (bus stop #3153) will be relocated to the far side of the intersection. Routes 1, 5 and 5A East, 6 and 24 will service this new location. Routes 5 and 5A West will not service this location.
Trafalgar Road at Upper Middle Road (bus stop #3224) will be relocated to the far side of the intersection. Routes 1, 5 and 5A, 6 East and 24 will service this new location. Route 6 West will not service this location.
Upper Middle Road at Trafalgar Road (bus stop #3154) Route 6 East bus stop will consolidate and move to the new bus stop location on Trafalgar Road south of Upper Middle Road (#3154).
