If you’re looking for a place to grab cheap eats in downtown Oakville, this is your next stop.
Then there’s a Halloumi Sandwich ($9.95), featuring grilled Halloumi cheeze, za’atar paste (with oregano, dried thyme, sesame seeds, sumac, and olive oil), plus tomatoes and olives. It’s served up on delicious sourdough.

One of the very best items on the menu: Baked Egyptian Falafel ($5.95). They’re made with fava beans and served hot, without a hint of dryness, and drizzled with tahini. (And I certainly don’t miss the upset stomach which accompanies traditionally fried falafel).
The Eggless Egg Sandwich ($8.25) is delicious, garnished with scallions and dill. You should try it.
The Middle Eastern menu also offers gluten-free items in addition to non-dairy eats.
For dessert, the coconut-based soft-serve ice cream is decadent (get the dark chocolate!) and comes in three flavours, including peanut butter chocolate and vanilla.
There are also a few types of donuts and pastries, such as croissants, and of course, baklava.
For the thirsty people in your life (I’ve got plenty) there are also many options such as smoothies and juices, plus Egyptian Lemonade made with lime, mint and orange blossom.
And this, just for the cranky old guy who runs my gym: you can bring your own containers and straws to save a little bit of dough and the planet.
