A 79-year-old man who lives in Niagara-on-the-Lake has been missing since early on Monday.

The family of Wilbert Colvin and the Niagara Regional Police Service are concerned for his welfare.

Colvin resides in the area of Dominion Crescent and Cannery Drive in Niagara-on-the-Lake. He left his home on Monday (Oct. 25) around 3 a.m., driving his white 2016 Lincoln MKZ with Ontario licence BTYM817. He then travelled to Niagara Falls, and then to Jordan Station (around 10:45 a.m.). His current location is unknown, the NRPS said.

Colvin is described as a white man who stands five-foot-eight and has a slim build. He was wearing a light brown hat with a dark ribbon, a dark navy-coloured winter jacket with light grey leather sleeves, light blue pants, and dark coloured shoes.

His son, Stu Colvin, a real estate agent in the Milton and Georgetown area, shared information about his father on Twitter on Monday.

Anyone who may have information as to Wilbert Colvin’s whereabouts or may have seen Wilbert are asked to contact the NRPS at 905-688-4111, extension 1022200.
