Home building companies from Oakville and Burlington are being recognized among the best in the province for setting the standard in home and condominium construction.
Both Oakville’s Mattamy Homes and Burlington’s Hallett Homes came away winners at the annual BILD Awards held earlier this month.
Presented by the Building Industry and Land Development Association, the awards gather the local building and development industry to celebrate the companies that set the standard in excellence and innovation in the design, construction, sales and marketing of new homes in the Greater Toronto Area.
Clockwork, a condominium development in Oakville by Mattamy Homes, was named Best New Community, Planned/Under Development.
Clockwork Condos are located at Upper Joshua Creek at Dundas St. and Ninth Line. The condo community offers a mix of stylish one and two bedroom suites with built-in smart technology and innovative home designs.
The prime location is near green space, while offering convenient access to public transportation and highways into the centres of Oakville, Mississauga and Toronto.
It also includes amenities such as a communal plaza, social lounge, rooftop terrace, fitness studio, walking trail and more.
Hallett Homes was awarded the Best Single-Detached House Design, Large for its Glen Abbey Encore Phase 3 Remmington development (pictured below).
The sold out community located in Glenn Abbey features a selection of luxurious towns and singles (42′ and 50′). It is surrounded by the greenery of sprawling parks and tranquil trails.
The home builder says Encore promises a picturesque life live in one of Oakville’s most historic neighbourhoods.
All companies featured at the BILD Awards are members in good standing of the Association. Nominations are submitted by any member organization and entries are evaluated by impartial expert judges.
Winners are announced at an exclusive gala every spring.
