Oakville Carjacking Ends With One Male in Police Custody

A male suspect in a reported carjacking incident that started in Oakville is in police custody after fleeing to Mississauga.

The male armed with a knife reportedly carjacked a vehicle on Cornwall Road in Oakville.

He later dumped the vehicle on Dundas Street West and Glen Erin Drive in Mississauga.

Police used a spike strip on the car before it was abandoned.

The male suspect is in Peel Police custody.

More officers are heading to the scene now.
