Oakville construction on Lakeshore works towards November completion

The Town of Oakville has provided an update on the Lakeshore Rd. construction and streetscape project.

Trafalgar to Dunn

• Granite pavers north side
• Placement of granular road base
• Remove temporary light poles
• Concrete laybys being poured
• Placing granular material at Dunn intersection and installation of granite curbs

Dunn to George

• Roadway closed to traffic while Dunn intersection being excavated
• George east side concrete sidewalk installation

Trafalgar – Lakeshore to Randall

• Start underground work associated with fibre optic communication cable relocation and installation of new signals

The $20 million project through the heart of Oakville’s downtown began in April of 2019 and is expected to be completed next month.
