Oakville driver charged for racing

A 21-year-old from Oakville has been charged with street racing near Stratford.
A 21-year-old from Oakville has been charged with street racing near Stratford.
According to Stratford Police, a black Volkswagen Rabbit was clocked doing 140 km/h in a 80 km/h zone in the Township of Perth South on Saturday evening.
The unidentified woman driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act for racing a motor vehicle. Her license was also suspended for seven days and the car impounded for the same length of time.
She is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 10.
