UPDATED: Oakville Pair Charged With Drug Trafficking
Two Oakville residents are facing charges in connection with a drug trafficking case.
The man and woman were arrested in Oakville on July 12 following an investigation which began last April by Halton police.
“They both resided at the same address where the warrant was executed,” said Det.-Const. Tim Woollands.
Investigators raided a home near Kerr St. and Speers Rd. seizing drugs with an estimated street value of $14,000.
The list includes 70 grams of heroin, 70 grams of methamphetamine, Lorazepam and Alprazolam pills, personal use amount of cocaine, and a prohibited conducted energy weapon or Taser, plus $1,500 in Canadian cash.
Edward Knoblauch, 34, is charged with: six counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking; possession of a controlled substance; possession of a prohibited weapon; two counts of driving while disqualified.
Lindsay Khan, 35, is charged with: four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking; possession of a controlled substance; possession of a prohibited weapon.
Knoblauch and Khan were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
