Oakville still the place for most expensive homes in Ontario

Three of the five most expensive home sold in Ontario last month were in Oakville.

According to Zoocasa, an online real estate company, all three of the local properties sold for at least $4.6M. Across the province, the average selling price in the month was about $880,000.

225 Dunwoody Drive, $5,600,000

This custom-built home has 8,300 sq.-ft. of living space and is in the exclusive Morrison area of southeast Oakville. A large, circular driveway has 16 parking spaces and the home has six bedrooms and five bathrooms. Other features include a lower level with a gym, wine cellar, wet bar, home theatre, spa room and games room.

1536 Warren Drive, $5,460,000

Another southeast Oakville beauty, this home has little touches like bespoke door, copper eaves, cedar shake roof and natural limestone. Of course, it also has more than 7,500 sq.-ft of living space along with four bedrooms, six baths and room for eight vehicles.

1204-111 Forsythe Street, $4,600,000

With a stunning view of Lake Ontario and Toronto, this penthouse suite is the epitome of condo living. Three bedrooms, 10-foot ceilings and hardwood floors throughout are just a few of the highlights. Extra large terraces overlooking the lake are the features of two of the bedrooms.
