Oakville thief used bike to make his getaway

Halton Regional Police need help to find a man who robbed an Oakville store.

The incident took place Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 4:15 p.m. at a store located near Dundas St. and Hyde Park Gate.

The incident took place Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 4:15 p.m. at a store located near Dundas St. and Hyde Park Gate.

According to police the man went into the store and grabbed an item then left without paying.

When approached by store staff the thief threatened to harm the them. He fled the scene on a bicycle.

The man is white, 20-30 years, thin build, with tattoos on his left hand and wrist. He was wearing a black Ralph Lauren zip-up sweater with yellow logo and hood up, a Canucks hockey jersey underneath, blue surgical mask, black backwards ball cap, black skinny jeans, and grey and white high top shoes.
