One of Milton’s specialty chicken restaurants has closed

A two-year run for a Milton take-out restaurant has come to an end.
Clucker’s Wood Oven, a restaurant that specialized in various chicken dishes, has closed.
Launched in the winter of 2021, Clocker’s had seen a few changes during its relatively short time of operation including a management turnover and some temporary closings. But after a notice in the fall saying the location was closed for renovations, it has now been confirmed that it will not reopen.
Located at 22 Ontario St. S., originally Clucker’s was an offshoot of Goodfella’s Pizza restaurant using the same wood-fired oven format to create unique flavours and healthy food choices.
Menu items included the specialty wood oven chicken along with salads, bowl meals, wraps and sandwiches.
The chicken was Halal-certified and sourced locally.
